North West has broken her silence after her first headline tour was canceled just days before she was due on stage.
The 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West was set to tour alongside rapper Molly Santana for the Kimokawaii Tour to promote her debut EP N0rth4evr.
However, her first show in Dallas, Texas, on August 5 and the August 17 show in Toronto were both marked as “cancelled” on Ticketmaster, and the tour’s official website is no longer available.
Expressing her disappointment in a statement on her Instagram Stories, North wrote: “I was really excited to go on tour (with) Molly Santana, sadly it isn’t happening anymore, but I have something special for you guys, see you soon.”
Molly also expressed her sadness over the cancelation, writing on her Stories: “To everyone who bought tickets to the tour, I sincerely apologize. I know a lot of you have taken time out of your busy schedules and spent your hard earned money planning to be there.
“Nothing makes me more happy than the opportunity to share more amazing memories with you all and I hope to see you soon. You are all so greatly appreciated and please know that I never take your time or support lightly,” she continued.
“I love y’all so much and I promise I will make this one up to you. Black punk otw & be right back,” she concluded.
North’s debut EP
© Getty ImagesNorth released N0rth4Evr on May 1, and she sang several tracks from the EP, as well as her 2024 collaboration with Kanye, “TALKING,” during her solo festival debut at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash 2026 music festival in Illinois on June 12.
The titular debut single has a pop-rock edge, with lyrics that touch on the pressures of growing up in the spotlight.
“Forever and always, I don’t listen, but they talk about me all day,” she sings, hinting at the scrutiny that comes with being part of one of the world’s most famous families.
© InstagramFor her first live solo performance, North appeared in what has quickly become her go-to uniform, wearing head-to-toe black Balenciaga with a pleated mini skirt and sweater, and turning the style from preppy to goth with a spiky bracelet, chunky black sneaker boots, and huge black sunglasses. Her long hair was dyed blue and in high pigtails.
The teenager’s family showed support for her new adventure, with several relatives, including her uncle Rob Kardashian, aunt Khloe Kardashian and grandmother Kris Jenner, sharing posts on Instagram showing themselves streaming and listening to her music.
Days after the release of her EP, North appeared for a surprise performance with Molly at the Rolling Loud music festival in Florida.
© InstagramNorth is the eldest of Kim and Kanye’s four children – siblings Saint, Chicago and Psalm – and, while still young, she’s already stepping confidently into her own spotlight, even amid growing criticism for her dermal finger piercing.
North has shown little interest in the backlash, previously addressing critics in a TikTok post that dismissed the controversy.
She posted a TikTok in December in which she mimed to the sound-byte: “Why are you crying? How old are you? Just pull it together,” with a caption that read: “This is for everyone that’s mad over a finger piercing.”
