Kelly Clarksonâs feeling stronger and standing a little taller this week, thanks to the Daytime Emmys.
The inaugural American Idol champ, 44, took to Instagram to celebrate a big win for The Kelly Clarkson Show, which nabbed a leading 11 nominations for the 2026 Daytime Emmy Awards.
Kellyâs show leads among talk shows, followed by The View, with the NBC talk show also landing a nod for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series host for Kelly herself.
The soap operas The Young and the Restless and Beyond the Gates led all nominees, with the former nabbing 18 and the latter 15.
The news is particularly meaningful for the âCatch My Breathâ hitmaker, who announced earlier this year that The Kelly Clarkson Show will conclude its run this fall after seven seasons on the air.
Kelly shared a message on social media while in Las Vegas, rehearsing for her upcoming residency, gushing: âRehearsing in Vegas and just found out The Kelly Clarkson Show has 11 Daytime Emmy nominations!â
âThank yâall so much! Iâm so stoked for our whole team and feeling very blessed,â she continued. Several fans quickly took to the comments section to offer their congratulations, and expressed excitement at the prospect of getting to see her perform live again soon.
âSee yâall in October! Best team, ever,â one wrote, with another saying: âNo one deserves it more! See you soon!!!!!â and a third adding: âCongratulations to everyone!! Best show in daytime!â
NATAS President and CEO Adam Sharp added in a statement about this yearâs nominees: âWeâre proud to honor the extraordinary talent and creative teams whose work continues to define and elevate daytime television.â
âAs the Daytime landscape evolves and new forms of storytelling emerge, we remain committed to recognizing the innovation happening across the industry.â This yearâs Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony will be taking place on October 30 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
The Kelly Clarkson Show will face off in Outstanding Daytime Talk Series against fellow NBC properties the 3rd Hour of TODAY and TODAY with Jenna & Friends, ABCâs The View and LIVE with Kelly and Mark, and finally, CBSâ The Drew Barrymore Show.
In Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host, Kelly herself will compete against the six ladies of The View, Tamron Hall from her eponymous talk show, Sherri Shepherd for her self-titled talk show (which recently also ended), and Jennifer Hudson.
In her statement announcing the end of the show, Kelly emphasized a desire to spend more time with her two kids, River and Remington, especially in the wake of the passing of their dad Brandon Blackstock.
âStepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives,â she wrote at the time. âThis isnât goodbye. Iâll still be making music, playing shows here and there, and you may catch me on The Voice from time to timeâŠyou never know where I might show up next.â
