Kelly Clarkson’s hit daytime talk show may be coming to an end in the fall, but that hasn’t stopped the star from welcoming some more famous faces before her departure. The “Breakaway” singer revealed on her show’s social media on Monday that P!nk would be joining her as a guest host in March, during Women’s History Month.
“P!nk will guest host The Kelly Clarkson Show for a special week of episodes beginning March 2!” she wrote in the caption, alongside a photo of the pair singing in Kelly’s Songs & Stories special. Fans quickly took to the comment section to share their delight.
“Can’t wait to see these two strong women in life together in Kelly’s show,” wrote one, while another added: “Oh my gosh, yes. I’m so excited.” A third chimed in: “Mama’s back!” while another said: “This just made my day.”
Kelly shared her thoughts in a statement, which read: “The only thing that bums me out about P!nk hosting a week of The Kelly Clarkson Show is that I’m not going to be able to be there to watch her.”
“I have been a fan for so long and have always been inspired by her music and her person. I love her!” she added.
P!nk shared her excitement over the new appointment, saying: “I’ve played stadiums and danced on the side of buildings, but stepping in to guest host for my girl Kelly Clarkson is a brand new feat! Let’s celebrate women, joy, resilience, and whatever else comes our way!”
P!nk’s new role comes three years after she appeared on Songs & Stories in 2023, and quickly became a favorite with Kelly’s fans thanks to their incredible duets of her tracks “Who Knew” and “What About Us”.

Kelly announced her departure after seven years of hosting the hit show via a social media statement, sharing that she was stepping back to focus on her children. The 43-year-old is a mom to 11-year-old River and nine-year-old Remy, whom she shared with her late ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.
“I have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at TKCS, both in Los Angeles and New York,” she began.
“There have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons. I am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show, and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner.”
“Because of all that, this was not an easy decision – but this season will be my last hosting TKCS,” she continued. “Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this next chapter of our lives.”
Kelly clarified that she would still be gracing our screens and releasing music before sharing that “you never know where I might show up next”.
