Kate Upton turned 34 on June 10. To celebrate the swimsuit model, who is known for her eye-catching bikinis over the years, we’ve gathered some of her best looks for her special day.
The model made her mark on the industry when she was presented as Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue’s Rookie of the Year in 2011.
Since then, her career has skyrocketed as she went from posing for the magazine’s spread to being shown off as the brand’s cover star in 2012, 2013 and 2017.
In 2012, her sultry photo which featured her donning a yellow bikini, went viral online as she continued to grow in popularity.
For her birthday, we’ve featured her show stopping bikini pictures below.
Being that Kate models mostly in bikinis, the star consistently puts in the work at the gym, day in and day out.
Kate’s longtime trainer David Kirsch previously shared her intense workout routine, revealing: “We do extreme, intense circuit training. We do three or four circuits and change them up a lot. There’s lots of core, butt, and thigh shaping and toning. We work with resistance bands, stability balls, do lateral lunges for the inner thighs, and for arms we do boxing,” per Elle.
He added: “She has her own pair of boxing gloves, and she will beat me up. She loves it! It’s a very efficient way to work out and get your cardio in.”
David strongly believes that a person can manage to set aside “10 or 15 minutes” for their daily exercise, because for him, its quality over quantity.
He expressed: “Do a couple of high intensity circuits a day. You aren’t going to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated or something, so the pressure isn’t there. Make time for one or two circuits first thing in the morning. No one can tell me they don’t have 10 or 15 minutes extra minutes a day. I don’t believe it. You don’t have to do 90 minutes.”
In order for Kate to maintain her elegant figure, she prioritizes healthy meals, which includes saying “no” to food or drink temptations.
David shared: “It’s sugar, alcohol, and processed carbs that we avoid. I don’t have her on a specifically gluten-free diet, but by the nature of what she eats, it is gluten free.”
As for Kate’s go-to meals, the professional trainer revealed: “She does a few egg whites with spinach for breakfast, and when she wants to, she does a 48-hour cleanse. She loves my Thermo Bubbles for snacks and my Super Charged Greens. She has a very good sense of how she needs to eat for her body.”
