Penned by Brett and Joe Kelly, who both worked on the hit Apple TV series Ted Lasso, the new movie is directed by Ol Parker (Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) and sees Jennifer reunite with her former co-star Edward James Olmos, who played her on-screen father in Selena (1997).
Netflix shared a first-look image of Jennifer and Brett, who play two workaholics embarking on a steamy romance. In the snap, the pair gaze into each other’s eyes as Jennifer’s character drapes her arm around the back of his neck.
