Jennifer Garner was all smiles as she stepped out in Santa Monica on Sunday, just one day after reuniting with ex-husband Ben Affleck to celebrate his 54th birthday.
The 13 Going on 30 actress, 54, looked radiant as she left church, flashing a huge smile as she walked through the sunshine in an effortlessly elegant ensemble.
Jennifer paired a simple fitted white crew-neck T-shirt with a billowing blue-and-white printed midi skirt featuring an intricate tile-inspired pattern and a cinched waist.
She completed the summery look with white sneakers and oversized black sunglasses with ombre lenses, while carrying a pale cardigan and black shoulder bag.
Her long brunette hair was worn loose over her shoulders and she kept her beauty look natural, appearing relaxed and in high spirits following the previous day’s family celebrations.

Jennifer’s outing came after she reunited with Ben on Saturday to mark the Good Will Hunting star’s 54th birthday. The former couple were spotted heading out for lunch accompanied by two of their children, Fin, 17, and Samuel, 14.
Jennifer and Ben, who were married from 2005 until their separation in 2015, also share eldest daughter Violet, 20. Despite ending their marriage more than a decade ago, the pair have remained committed to co-parenting their three children and have frequently been seen coming together for important family occasions.
Their latest reunion comes at a particularly poignant time for Jennifer following the death of her mother, Patricia Garner, earlier this year.

Jennifer recently gave a rare insight into just how difficult it was raising Violet, Fin and Samuel amid intense public interest in both her and Ben.
Speaking on Evan Ross Katz’s Shut Up Evan podcast, the actress recalled the extraordinary lengths photographers would go to while following her family.
“If I went through a yellow light, 15 cars would go through the red behind me,” she said. “They would drive up onto people’s lawns, even on a hillside.”
© GC ImagesThe attention became so disruptive that Jennifer said she was once asked to stop attending her child’s soccer practices. “We were trying to have our little one play soccer, and the association asked us to stop because there were 20 cars coming,” she explained. “So it wasn’t just about us. It was just an industry that had gotten out of control.”
Jennifer also recalled struggling to take a sick child to the pediatrician because photographers were blocking the entrance. “If you show up and you’re trying to get into the pediatrician and you have a sick kid on your shoulder and you’re scared and you can’t get into the door because you’re blocked by photographers, there’s something wrong with that, and the kids are paying the price,” she said.
While acknowledging the enormous privilege that came with her successful Hollywood career, Jennifer added: “It felt like ‘poor little me, my poor little kids who have everything in the world,’ but it was a danger to everyone around us.”

Jennifer has also been busy professionally, with the actress starring in and executive producing Peacock’s The Five-Star Weekend, adapted from Elin Hilderbrand’s bestselling 2023 novel.
The series follows a food influencer dealing with loss who invites four friends from different periods of her life to spend a weekend together in Nantucket.

“I hope people watch this and have a blast,” Jennifer told Elle. “You have women in their 30s, 40s, 50s, talking about perimenopause and menopause, but it’s not pedantic and it’s not an eye roll.”
