Jenna Bush Hager is so real! The Fourth Hour anchor often shares tales of her life growing up in the spotlight on Today – most recently regarding being subject to pregnancy rumors.
On April 28, Jenna and her co-host Sheinelle Jones started the show by talking about the reporting of Zoe Kravitz and Harry Styles’ engagement news, specifically focusing on the use of the word “sources”.
“I crack up” she joked, as she remembered the many times she had been written about alongside the term “sources”. “Which source close to me ever felt like they needed to say that,” she said, before the subject moved on to pregnancy rumors.
“There was one time where I was so sad by it because I was a young person and I was wearing.. remember when the peasant shirts were in… and it was like ‘a source close to Jenna Bush says she is indeed pregnant.’ I was like I thought I had just reached my goal weight, I look pregnant? And the fact we have to bring in sources?”
Today, Jenna is a doting mom-of-three, and shared her pregnancy news herself each time. The star is married to Henry Hager, and the couple are parents to daughters Mila, 13, and Poppy, 10, and Hal, six.
The mom-of-three often shares snippets of her family’s life on social media, from cute pictures of her children to photos with her famous parents, George W. Bush and Laura Bush.
Jenna lives in Fairfield County, Connecticut, in a gorgeous home, having relocated there from NYC in 2022. The family previously lived in Tribeca, but sold the apartment when they made the move.
And while Jenna loves living outside the city, her dream is to one day move back to Texas, where she was raised with her twin sister Barbara.
In August, she told her Fourth Hour guest co-host Matt Rogers: “I have this sort of dream. I just think everybody should have chapters in their lives. I have a dream [and] I don’t know how realistic it is, but when Jenna & Friends chapter comes to a close…”
This prompted Matt to ask her why the show would ever end, to which she replied: “Well, linear television, baby!” She continued: “Who knows, but when I’m ready to go to my next chapter, I think it would be so nice to move back to Texas and let my kids… I went to a big public high school… have a different life.”
Jenna has been a Fourth Hour co-host since April 2019, joining the show to host alongside Hoda Kotb.
Following Hoda’s departure in January 2025, Jenna co-hosted the Fourth Hour alongside a slew of different co-hosts before Sheinelle was announced as the new permanent co-host in December. When she joined in January, the show changed names to Today with Jenna & Sheinelle. h
