Starring James McAvoy, the film follows an American family who, after befriending a charismatic British couple while on holiday in Italy, accept a seemingly innocent invitation to visit their idyllic country estate. However, what promises to be a relaxing weekend getaway rapidly spirals into a harrowing psychological nightmare, as the hosts’ sinister motives emerge.
The drama boasts a respectable audience score of 83 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes and promises plenty of twists, tension and a brilliant performance from leading star James.
