Helena Christensen infused her sartorial agenda with a sultry lace twist as she graced the Coco De Mer 25 Years Party during London Fashion Week on September 17.
The model wore a black lace bodysuit that featured a deep neckline with a risque sheer design. The garment was styled with silky polka-dot pants and a matching oversized top that draped elegantly over the silhouette. The outfit was accessorized with a black clutch and a pair of open-toe heels.
Helena’s luscious brunette locks were styled into a bombshell blowout while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a bronze eye and bold red lip.
Coco de Mer, the London-born luxury lingerie and sexual wellness house, marked its 25th anniversary this year. To celebrate the milestone, Coco de Mer hosted an exclusive anniversary event at Dear Darling Mayfair in partnership with the model.
“Some of my favourite work has been with Coco de Mer, both behind the camera and in front of it,” said Helena in the press release. “They trusted me to shape how a woman is seen through my own creative lens. Sensuality is a personal thing, and I’ve always liked that Coco de Mer has given the women I’ve photographed the freedom to express themselves and feel confident on their own terms rather than dictating it. I’ve been a fan of Coco de Mer far longer than I’ve been a collaborator. What I’ve always loved about the brand is that everything is so beautifully made and such a joy to wear. Co-hosting the 25-year celebration feels like the perfect way to mark our story, together.”
Lucy Litwack, CEO of Coco de Mer, also commented on the collaboration. “For 25 years, Coco de Mer has been about more than lingerie or sexual wellness; it has been about creating a space where women can explore pleasure on their own terms,” she shared. “To reach this milestone during London Fashion Week, in partnership with Helena, feels particularly fitting. It is a celebration of how far the conversation around female desire has come, while also looking ahead to our next chapter.”
Helena Christensen’s beauty secrets
The model opened about her beauty agenda during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “I love lip gloss, eyeliner, and blush. Those are probably the three products that I have with me everywhere,” she shared of her holy grail makeup products.
Helena also shared the makeup tips she learnt from being backstage and on set. “The one that has stuck with me is to use your fingertips. For example, using your fingertips to lightly dab cheek color onto the skin. It gives a really beautiful, natural, almost flushed look,” she explained.
“I feel like I can really control the color with my fingers, more than with brushes. But then in the end, I use a brush to sort of just go over it so the edges are smooth and to blend it perfectly. I also feel that when you use your fingers, you get the blood flow going and your own natural color comes through. For brushes, I do love the ones for foundations that can get a little wet.”
