Heidi Klum just put a sultry twist on double denim as she embraced the art of underwear-as-outerwear dressing. The supermodel took to Instagram on May 23 to share her latest outfit while in Germany.
The 52-year-old wore a denim co-ord consisting of a button-up shirt with an asymmetric plunging neckline that fell slightly off one shoulder, paired with straight-leg jeans in the same wash, finished with a frayed hem. The outfit was layered over a baby pink lace bra that peeked through beneath the denim top. Heidi accessorized with a black handbag and a pair of nude pointed-toe heels.Â
Heidiâs luscious blonde locks were styled into soft waves while her makeup oozed glam, courtesy of a smoky eye and a pink lip. âGood morning Germany,â she penned in the caption, with the post set to the song âRUNWAYâ by Lady Gaga and Doechii.
The supermodel is currently in Germany to promote Germanyâs Next Topmodel after her fashionable  stint in France for the annual Cannes Film Festival.
The visible bra trend is part of the larger outerwear-as-underwear trend that peppered the autumn/winter 2025 runway. Simone Rocha styled fuzzy fur bras with leather jackets and billowing skirts, Chanel exposed bras with tailored skirt suits. Over at Givenchy, Sarah Burton paired barely-there bras with sheer, mesh dresses. Miu Miuâs autumn/winter 2025 runway resurrected the bullet bras of the 1950s. Bras were layered beneath ribbed knits or seen peeking out from under ruffled silk dresses, their conical shape adding a striking contrast to otherwise soft, romantic silhouettes.
Having headed campaigns for Victoriaâs Secret and Intimissimi, Heidi has never been one to shy away from modelling in a lace bra. âIâve been photographing nude or in lingerie since 1992, way before Instagram,â she previously told People. âSo for me, itâs nothing new. For the past 15 years, other people are now doing what Iâve been doing for 30 years. Instead of being in my little bottoms in a magazine, Iâm on Instagram. Itâs the same thing.â
âPeople always say, âYou probably got more confident as youâve gotten older,â but I have always been confident,â she added. âI have no problem walking around in my underwear. Iâm not hiding in a corner.â
During the mid-to-late â90s, Heidi Klum played a key role in reshaping runway beauty standards, emerging as one of the more curvy models for Victoriaâs Secret at a time when the fashion industry largely favored an ultra-thin ideal.
