Harry Styles has sparked concern among fans after an alarming on-stage moment during his latest Wembley Stadium show on Friday, June 26 2026.

A clip circulating on TikTok appeared to show the singer choking on water while performing in soaring London temperatures. Harry had been attempting his now-famous “whale” spit – where he sprays a stream of water into the air – when he seemed to inhale some of it, visibly struggling before dropping to the floor.

The singer remained down for several seconds as he continued to cough, prompting worried reactions from fans watching in the stadium and via livestream. He was then seen sitting back up and recovering, before continuing with the show.

While Harry appeared to quickly regain his composure, the footage left many fans rattled, with comments flooding social media soon afterwards.

“When he fell to his knees, my heart stopped in shock,” one fan wrote. “Harry is incredible, it surely takes immense strength and stamina to perform in these temperatures, and yet he always gives it his all.”

One concerned fan summed up the general reaction, writing: “I was so worried about him.”

The moment came amid an intense heatwave across the UK, with London temperatures reportedly reaching 37.5°C (99.5°F) on Friday – marking another record-breaking June day for the capital.

Harry has been performing his hugely anticipated Wembley residency in front of crowds of around 80,000 each night, and he has already made a point of encouraging fans to take care of themselves in the extreme conditions.

At an earlier show this week, the former One Direction star paused to urge concert-goers to stay hydrated and look out for those around them.

“We’re going to look after each other, please try and stay hydrated,” he told the crowd. “If you need anything at any point, please let me know, we can stop at any time.”

Wembley Stadium also relaxed its usual water bottle policy during the heatwave, allowing fans to bring metal or hard plastic bottles inside. Half-priced water was made available at the venue, while free sunscreen was offered at information points.

Harry, meanwhile, has been keeping up his own fitness routine while in London. Known for his love of running – and having completed two marathons – he was recently spotted running 10km from his Hampstead home to Wembley ahead of one of his two-hour concerts.

Still, fans were all saying the same thing after the latest incident: even Harry needs to slow down and take care in the heat.
