Gordon Ramsayâs youngest daughter, Tilly, has made him a âproud dadâ with her latest milestone that quite literally follows in his footsteps. The celebrity chefâs 24-year-old daughter, Matilda âTillyâ Ramsay, is joining the thousands of runners for the London Marathon on Sunday â and her famous dad is ready to cheer her on from the sidelines.
Gordon, who has completed multiple marathons over the years, including the London Marathon, stood with his arm affectionately around his daughter in a side hug in photos posted on the morning of the marathon. âSuch a proud dad today watching my little girl @tillyramsay run her first ever marathon !!!!â the celebrity chef gushed on social media.Â
Tilly was geared up for the race in her athleisure wear and bib number with her name printed on a shirt. âThx to @flora and everyone who supported @feeding_britain on her incredible journey. Go get em kiddo !!â Gordon celebrated his daughterâs effort.
Gordonâs marathon achievements
While Tilly is just starting her marathon journey, Gordon is a seasoned professional with over 20 marathons under his belt. The chef previously ran the London Marathon in 2004 in an impressive time of 3:30:37.Â
âWishing this incredible young lady all the very best for tomorrow as you attempt your first ever London Marathon,â Gordon said, sending luck to Tilly the night before her first marathon. âLove you so much, Dad [red heart emoji].â
âCanât wait to see you out there! Good luck to everyone running and a big thank you to all the volunteers, you are all amazing,â he added.
Tillyâs bond with her dad
Along with running, Tilly shares a passion for food and cooking with her dad. The 24-year-old has followed in her fatherâs culinary footsteps with her own CBBC cooking show, Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, and her 2025 series called Dish It Out on Amazon Prime Video.Â
When asked by HELLO! what sheâs learned from her father in an exclusive 2025 interview, Tilly replied: âOne big thing for me is passion. I see how much he cares about every little detail with food. Flavour is super-important, but the way you present it and make it your own â everyone can do a spaghetti carbonara, but how do you adapt it to make it yours?â
âHeâs great at advice. I always know that if I need anything, I can call him and Mum, because Mum is also very good in the kitchen. They love it now, because itâs like: âTell us whatâs for dinner tonight.â And I say: âOkay, cool.'â
