George and Amal Clooney looked more in love than ever as they stepped out in St Tropez to celebrate the veteran actorās 65th birthday on Thursday. The couple, who tied the knot in 2014 and share twins Alexander and Ella, soaked up the sun in the coastal town as they laughed with each other before joining friends for lunch at the exclusive Club 55.Ā They also enjoyed a scenic boat ride after cruising around the picturesque waters on a yacht.Ā
GeorgeĀ looked dapperĀ in a black polo shirt and beige trousers with a tan leather belt and matching tan loafers, while his glamorous wife stunned in a fresh-off-the-runway Pucci look featuring a textured, multi-colored top and black miniskirt with colored detailing and a thigh slit.Ā
She accessorized with matching calf-high boots and a black handbag, and wore her signature oversized sunglasses as she held on tightly to Georgeās hand.Ā The Jay KellyĀ star recently opened up about his milestone birthday toĀ Page Six, revealing that he was entering his āthird actā.Ā
āWell, letās hope! Depends on how long the whole show runs,ā he shared, before adding that he was more focused on philanthropy now than his acting career.Ā āIām spending it more working on the [Clooney Foundation for Justice], working more on the schools and doing things that I find more fulfilling because Iām not chasing a career anymore, you know,ā he explained.Ā
āThatās helpful in a way because you get to spend time working on things that matter to you at least. And so thatās where my focus is. But, you know, if you get a good part, you take it.ā
George added that he couldnāt believe how far he had come in his career, despite a handful of mishaps.Ā āI remember me on The Facts of Life. I had a good mullet. The idea that I could do some of the things ā shows Iāve done and then to still have a career isĀ shocking,ā he quipped.
George and Amal are raising their eight-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, on their sprawling estate in the south of France, and the pair are slowly learning about their fatherās illustrious Hollywood career.Ā

āHalloweenās a big holiday. My son went as Batman. He hadnāt seen BatmanĀ yet,ā he explained toĀ WĀ magazine. āI always say to him, āYou know I was Batman.ā Heās always like, āNo.'ā
āI donāt know that he knew how profound it was when he said I wasnāt Batman. A couple of weeks ago, I finally showed it to him,ā he continued. āIt wasnāt great for grown-ups, but itās great for eight-year-olds, so he loved it.ā
