George and Amal Clooney looked more in love than ever as they stepped out in St Tropez to celebrate the veteran actorâs 65th birthday on Thursday. The couple, who tied the knot in 2014 and share twins Alexander and Ella, soaked up the sun in the coastal town as they laughed with each other before joining friends for lunch at the exclusive Club 55. They also enjoyed a scenic boat ride after cruising around the picturesque waters on a yacht.Â
George looked dapper in a black polo shirt and beige trousers with a tan leather belt and matching tan loafers, while his glamorous wife stunned in a fresh-off-the-runway Pucci look featuring a textured, multi-colored top and black miniskirt with colored detailing and a thigh slit.Â
She accessorized with matching calf-high boots and a black handbag, and wore her signature oversized sunglasses as she held on tightly to Georgeâs hand. The Jay Kelly star recently opened up about his milestone birthday to Page Six, revealing that he was entering his âthird actâ.Â
âWell, letâs hope! Depends on how long the whole show runs,â he shared, before adding that he was more focused on philanthropy now than his acting career. âIâm spending it more working on the [Clooney Foundation for Justice], working more on the schools and doing things that I find more fulfilling because Iâm not chasing a career anymore, you know,â he explained.Â
âThatâs helpful in a way because you get to spend time working on things that matter to you at least. And so thatâs where my focus is. But, you know, if you get a good part, you take it.â
George added that he couldnât believe how far he had come in his career, despite a handful of mishaps. âI remember me on The Facts of Life. I had a good mullet. The idea that I could do some of the things â shows Iâve done and then to still have a career is shocking,â he quipped.
George and Amal are raising their eight-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, on their sprawling estate in the south of France, and the pair are slowly learning about their fatherâs illustrious Hollywood career.Â

âItâs a weird thing. As you get older, itâs hard to watch movies when you were younger because youâre likeâŠthat doesnât even look like me anymore,â he told People.Â
âYou know, Iâm watching because Iâve got eight-year-olds, Iâm watching Fantastic Mr Fox, which is a little easier because itâs not really me, itâs just my voice. And thatâs kind of fun because the kids are slowly figuring out what I do for a living.â
The father of two previously shared that his son had refused to accept that he once played Batman in the 1997 flick Batman & Robin.Â
âHalloweenâs a big holiday. My son went as Batman. He hadnât seen Batman yet,â he explained to W magazine. âI always say to him, âYou know I was Batman.â Heâs always like, âNo.'â
âI donât know that he knew how profound it was when he said I wasnât Batman. A couple of weeks ago, I finally showed it to him,â he continued. âIt wasnât great for grown-ups, but itâs great for eight-year-olds, so he loved it.â
