Eva Mendes had a unique “date night” with her husband Ryan Gosling.
Instead of the duo having a typical one-on-one outing, the actress surprisingly went on a solo adventure – to the movie theater to watch his latest film that is.
The entertainer posed for pictures during the screening of Project Hail Mary that Ryan stars in.
The Hitch star donned a flowy maroon dress, black leggings and black Louboutin heels. She completed the look with loose curly hair and gold jewelry including a statement necklace with a massive round maroon gem.
In one shot, Eva was spotted kissing Ryan’s character who was featured on a poster.
She captioned the post: ” Last night’s date night looked a little different. I fell in love with Ryland Grace and now that damn alien Rock has my heart, too. I’m so in. Just beautiful.”
Fans flocked to the comments to cheer the couple on. One person wrote: “Love you both so much! Can’t wait for tomorrow 3.20.2026!”
A second follower added: “I love the cuteness of the second picture. You are adorable and beautiful together! Can’t wait to watch it tomorrow! But according to things I am reading, I have no doubt the little alien will make me cry!” A third person said: “Ryan is a lucky man!”
Eva’s display of love
This isn’t the first time that Eva has shown public support for her husband’s work.
In February, she shared the trailer on her social media and captioned it: “MASTERPIECE is what it’s being called. Why I love it so much is there’s finally a film for the entire family that makes going to the movie theater an experience again – especially in IMAX.”
She added: “When I was little, my mom worked at the iconic Hollywood Chinese Theatre. And some of my favorite memories are sitting in the theater watching films that united us – like E.T. So this one hits home for me. Yes, my man produced it / is in it, and he kills, crushes, and ate… but I genuinely love this beautiful family film.”
Ryan returns the love
Eva isn’t the only one showing her partner some love and appreciation. During Ryan’s acceptance speech for his role in La La Land in 2017, he proudly told the audience just how much Eva means to him.
He shared: “I just would like to try and thank one person properly and say that, while I was singing and dancing and playing piano and having one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on a film, my lady was raising our daughter, pregnant with our second, and trying to help her brother fight his battle with cancer.”
The actor lovingly added: “If she hadn’t taken all that on so I could have this experience, it would surely be someone else up here other than me. So sweetheart, thank you.”
The pair share daughters Esmeralda Amada, 11, and Amada Lee, nine, together.
