Dua Lipa has added silver sparkles to her sartorial agenda this week as she stepped out for the Nespresso x Dua Lipa photocall during Cannes Film Festival at Nespresso Beach on May 15.
The singer, who is the global brand ambassador for Nespresso, wore a silver metallic mini dress that featured a sleeveless design with a plunging neckline. The garment was embellished with intricate sparkles for a glitzy finish. Dua teamed the scene-stealing look with a pair of matching open-toe heels. She also wore a gold serpentine necklace with a matching bracelet.
Dua’s raven locks were left down in soft waves while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a bronze eye and a nude-stained lip.
Dua Lipa’s recent outfit
The star has been embracing sparkly mini dresses this season. Dua took to Instagram to show off her recent vintage purchase – a glittering silver minidress from Versace’s fall 1995 haute couture collection.
Originally designed by the late Gianni Versace, the archival garment featured a zip-up design with a figure-hugging silhouette and rounded neckline. The entire dress was embellished with intricate crystals for a bejeweled look. Dua styled the piece with a pair of matching sparkly boots that featured front zippers. Her luscious locks were left down in a sleek, straight style while her makeup matched the dress – a glittering eye, highlighted cheek, and glossy lip.
The dress was first worn on the runway by none other than Kate Moss for the finale. Although Dua went sans veil, the look is a testimony to her upcoming marriage to actor Callum Turner.
“Yeah, we’re engaged,” she confirmed for British Vogue’s July cover interview. “It’s very exciting. This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever – it’s a really special feeling.”
“I’m obsessed with it,” she said of the ring. “It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.”
Dua has also added bold purple and red hues to her sartorial agenda while in Cannes. Styled by Lorenzo Posocco, she stepped out in a Ferragamo Fall/Winter 2026 ready-to-wear look by Maximilian Davis.
The grape-colored sheer set featured an asymmetric long-sleeve top with a matching midi skirt. Each item was adorned with lace up detailing on the front via a zig-zag cord. Dua layered a matching lace lingerie set under the risque outfit.
For a color-clashing moment, the singer wore the house’s red Itaca patent-leather mules, which feature a pointed-toe and sculptural design, with a Hug bag in a matching romantic hue. The look was completed with a stack of Serpenti Viper rings and a Viper bracelet.
