Dianne Buswell shares adorable new baby picture as she celebrates major milestone

New mum Dianne Buswell posted a sweet picture of herself and her baby, Bowden Mark Richard Sugg, to her social media and revealed she was celebrating the pair’s first weekend together. 

The 36-year-old Strictly Come Dancing star welcomed her first baby with her partner, social media influencer Joe Sugg, 34, on 16 March. 

After bringing her son home, the professional dancer captured an adorable moment where Bowden was lying on her chest. She shared the picture on her Instagram account and added a caption that read: “Our first weekend of many together, my little Bowie. P.S. Can confirm he did not inherit my toe thumb.” 

Dianne’s signature red hair was loose around her bare face as she snapped a no-makeup selfie. She wore a white V-neck top, and the waistband of some colourful blue trousers was visible before the picture cut off. 

Bowden was dressed in a tiny blue and white striped baby grow and was fast asleep as he nestled into his mother’s chest. 

Dianne’s friends and fans rushed to the comment section to send their notes of congratulations and well-wishes for the new mum. 

Fellow Strictly pro Johannes Radebe commented: “Just gorgeous,” with a red heart emoji, while a follower said: “Awww beautiful little soul.” 

“You two… pure love and serenity,” another fan wrote, while a third shared: “Dianne, he is so cute and perfect. Beautiful photo of you two, you look radiant. Enjoy all the cuddles.” 

Welcome Baby Bowden 

Dianne and Joe shared the news that they had become a family of three on social media just a few days after their son was born. 

Posting a picture of the newborn wrapped in a white hospital blanket, wearing a pale blue knitted beanie hat, the couple said: “Never felt a love like it. Baby Bowden Mark Richard Sugg. 16/03/26”

Alongside the newborn picture, they also shared a snap of Dianne in her hospital bed, enjoying skin-to-skin contact time with Bowden and another of Joe’s back as he walked out of the hospital ward carrying the tot in a car seat. 

While the tiny boy’s name caused some confusion online as fans struggled to pronounce it, YouTuber Joe was quick to clear things up and clarified things via Instagram.

He took to his Stories to say: “Bowden Sugg. Pronounced Bow like How, not Bow like Row… hopefully that makes sense.” The new dad shared a crying with laughter emoji on the post, and Dianne was quick to repost the message.
