Cruz Beckham appeared to reach out to his estranged older brother, Brooklyn Beckham, in a touching social media moment featuring a throwback photo of the pair as children. The 21-year-old took to his Instagram Story to share the cute snap, which saw Cruz, Brooklyn and their brother Romeo smiling widely for the camera in matching white shirts and jeans.Â
Although Cruz did not caption the family photo, it was clear that the musician wanted to reminisce about their happy childhood. The subtle shout-out comes amid Brooklynâs ongoing feud with his family, which reached a fever pitch in January when he posted a damning statement explaining why he is estranged from his parents.Â
The 27-year-old claimed in the statement that Victoria and David Beckham had been less than welcoming to his wife, Nicola Peltz, when she first joined the family, and alleged that they tried to ruin his wedding day.Â
âMy wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard weâve tried to come together as one,â he wrote. âSince the moment I started standing up for myself with my family, Iâve received endless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly, that were sent to the press on their orders.â
âEven my brothers were sent to attack me on social media, before they ultimately blocked me out of nowhere this last summer,â he continued. âThe narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life.âÂ
When rumors of a family feud were brewing in 2025, Cruz seemingly confirmed it when defending his parents from a social media user who claimed the Beckhams had blocked their son. Â
âNOT TRUE. My mom and dad would never unfollow their sonâŠLetâs get the facts right. They woke up blockedâŠas did I,â he wrote. Despite Cruzâs disdain, he has extended an olive branch to Brooklyn on several occasions since the statement was released. In February, he shared a throwback photo of himself, Brooklyn and Romeo hugging and smiling for the camera as kids.

Then, in March, Cruz posted a picture of Brooklyn holding him as a baby, with the caption: âI love youâ alongside a party emoji to commemorate his brotherâs birthday. When asked by paparazzi in the same month if the family feud would come to an end, he replied: âI hope soâ.Â
Although the Beckhams have remained tight-lipped about their estranged son since the statement was released in January, Victoria opened up about how the family were faring in an interview with Today with Jenna & Sheinelle in April.Â
When asked by Jenna Bush Hager how she and David worked through tough times together, she replied: âMyself and David, weâre so close, and we have incredible people around us.â
âWeâre close to my parents and Davidâs parents. We support each other through everything that we do,â Victoria said. âWe always put our children first. We love our children so much and have always really focused on protecting our children. But we laugh a lot. David Beckham is really, super funny.âÂ
The fashion designer added that the couple had âgrown togetherâ over the years and supported each other to be âthe best versionâ of themselves.Â
