Alix Earle awkwardly dodged questions about her feud with Alex Cooper in a cringe interview with “Today” host Craig Melvin.
“There’s been this back and forth between you and another internet personality, a podcaster as well. Seems to be a bit of online beef there,” Melvin began on Tuesday’s broadcast, referring to Cooper. “What’s actually happening? What’s really going on?”
Earle — who went on the talkshow to promote her new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover — looked visibly uncomfortable by the journalist bringing up their drama.
“You know, I’m trying to keep things pretty positive today. We don’t have that much time here, honestly. And also, it’s like, why ruin such a good day with something not so great?”
“But is there some sort of legitimate contentiousness, or has it all been exaggerated?” Melvin continued to press the 25-year-old.
“No, it’s exaggerated. I love everyone,” Earle responded with a sly look on her face.
After “Today” posted the interview clip on Instagram, fans immediately took to the comments section and called out the uncomfortable exchange.
“What an odd question. I Miss Kathy Lee,” one user wrote. “This is incredibly odd behavior coming from the Today show,” another added.
One fan said of Earle, “She’s so uncomfortable just look at her body language.”
But others defended Melvin’s questioning, as they want to get to the bottom of the drama, too.
“@craigmelvinnbc trying to give people what we want !!!!” one wrote. “Craig out here doing the Lords work 👏👏👏” another quipped.
Feud rumors between Earle and Cooper, 31, began swirling in February 2025 when the latter’s Unwell Network dropped Earle’s “Hot Mess” podcast.
The two blond beauties added fuel to the fire by posting passive aggressive social media posts about one another. But things came to a head last month when the “Call Her Daddy” podcast host called out Earle by name in a TikTok.
“Alix Earle, hey girl. … I’ve got to call you out here. You’re gonna need to get specific and just say what you’ve got to say about me. There’s no NDA. No one is stopping you.”
In the video, Cooper also urged Earle to “stop hiding behind other people” and blasted her “passive-aggressive re-posts and likes” on social media.
“Just say it yourself,” Cooper said. “Because I’m really tired of waking up and seeing you using this fake drama to distract from other s–t going on.
“Not interested,” she added. “I know what happened and so do you, so talk. Unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth. I have nothing to hide when it comes to you and me, so unless you actually have something to say, I’m out. This is over.”
Earle responded to the call out in the comments section of Cooper’s video, writing, “Okay on it!!” — but has yet to reveal her side of the story.
Several other social media personalities have been dragged into the drama, including Dave Portnoy and Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia, but Earle just keeps continuing to tease when she will finally air out the drama.
