Chris Hemsworth and his family were denied boarding for an international flight after a passport mix-up.
The âThorâ actor and his wife, Elsa Pataky, spoke about the embarrassing incident during a recent interview with Harperâs Bazaar Arabia, as he explained, âI actually went to the airport once and I had my daughterâs passport instead of my sonâs passport.â
Hemsworth â who shares daughter India Rose, 14, and 12-year-old twin boys Sasha and Tristan with Pataky â said he tried to get through security by insisting that the travel document belonged to his youngest daughter.Â
âThey kind of look the same,â he quipped, as the Spanish model, 49, chimed in, saying, âThey donât.â
âI said, âThis is her,ââ he recalled telling the security agent, who replied, ââThatâs a boy.ââ
âSo, yeah, that didnât work,â the Marvel star, 42, quipped.   Â
Hemsworth and Pataky â who tied the knot in 2010 â welcomed India Rose in May 2012, followed by twins Sasha and Tristan in March 2014.
Although the couple mostly keeps their children out of the spotlight, they seem to be following in their famous dadâs footsteps.
India Rose starred as Gorrâs daughter in the 2022 film âThor: Love and Thunder.â
Though Hemsworth was excited for his eldest child to join him on set, he shared that he wants her to prioritize being a kid.
âI want her to have a childhood and I think so does she,â he told ET Online in July 2023.
âI said, âThereâs plenty of time, sweetie. Go to school, horse ride, have fun, be a kid.â Because once the train moves, itâs pretty hard to get off, and you miss a lot of things,â the âAvengersâ star added.
As for the twins, Sasha and Tristan recently appeared in their momâs new TV series, âThe Tribute.â
The pre-teens play the sons of Patakyâs character in the Spanish-language production.
