Leave it to Carole Radziwill to move The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th cast to tears.
“I wrote something about my experience at BravoCon. I’m just going to read a few sentences I wrote,” the journalist and author, 63, says in Us’ exclusive sneak peek of the Sunday, September 20, episode of the hit Bravo series, celebrating 20 successful years of the Real Housewives franchise.
“There’s a strange, undeniable sisterhood among us. For one night, the grudges, the fights, the eye rolls, the headline-making feuds, they all softened,” Carole recites. “What is left is the bond of a group of women who survived this beautifully flawed universe together, who lead behind 20+ years of laughter, chaos and guilty pleasures for millions of people. A sisterhood forged in the fire of Housewives.”
In the clip, Carole’s speech immediately receives a round of applause from the table as various cast members reflect on their experience living their lives for the world to see.
“All of us have gone through very difficult times and had millions of people weighing in on your life,” Kyle Richards shares in a confessional interview. “You automatically have a bond.”
Lisa Barlow adds, “I’m sitting at a table with a group of girls where we have this common bond, where we have done something very, very hard. It’s kind of making me emotional.”
While Teresa Giudice refrained from flipping any tables, she appears to be the most emotional of the Real Housewives bunch. When looking back on her experience in New Jersey, the Bravo star can’t help but reflect on the highs and lows in recent years.
“You brought tears to my eyes,” Teresa, 54, says. “I’ve been on TV 18, 19 years. I’ve been through a lot. The best part was having [my daughter] Audrina [on season 2]. [But] I lost my parents.”
Although feuds and disagreements may get the most screen time, Vicki Gunvalson believes there is something special between the cast members who make up the Real Housewives franchise.
“We get each other,” she says. “All the different franchises come together. There’s definitely a sisterhood.”
The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th airs on Bravo Sundays at 9 p.m. ET. Stream new episodes the next day on Peacock.
