Big Brother’s longest-running couple, Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd, are shamelessly living their best life in the Centennial State.

“I love living here in Colorado. This is the best place to raise your kids,” Jordan, 39, exclusively told Us on July 31 when celebrating the success of her “Togethermess” podcast with Jeff, 48. “It’s the best place. When we first moved here, we didn’t know anything about Colorado. I couldn’t believe how much there was to do when the kids are little.”

Jeff and Jordan — who share two sons — first met on season 11 of Big Brother in 2009. They went on to compete on The Amazing Race and married in March 2016.

While the couple have their fond memories of life in the Hollywood spotlight, Colorado turned out to be the perfect place to raise their boys.

When Jeff Schroeder was auditioning for Big Brother, he didn’t even know what a showmance was. “I remember in the questionnaire, you filled out this big thing and one of them was, ‘You down for having a relationship — a showmance?’” Jeff, 47, exclusively recalled to Us Weekly before the season 27 premiere of Big […]

“The kids have that ’90s living where we’re at. We live in a cul-de-sac. All of our neighbors are super tight. We all get along,” Jordan shared. “We all sit in our driveways in lawn chairs, have our drinks and our kids play. Some people might think I’m exaggerating, but that is exactly how it is with us.”

Jeff added, “Everyone who comes to visit us, when they see the kids outside, they say, ‘When I pull up, I get so jealous.’ Some of my friends in Los Angeles come and go, ‘This doesn’t happen in Los Angeles.’ I like that we’re raising our kids the old school way.”

While viewers are used to seeing showmances blossom inside the Big Brother house each and every summer, Jeff and Jordan arguably exceeded fans’ expectations when they celebrated 10 years of marriage.

When asked to share their secrets to finding a lasting love in front of the reality TV cameras, both parties acknowledge they are in a unique situation.

“Within six months, we went through all the trials and tribulations people go through in a 10-year span, and we made it through the other side,” Jeff said when reflecting on the pair’s time filming Big Brother and The Amazing Race back-to-back. “I knew that nothing would ever break that bond that we formed so early in our relationship.”

While Jeff credits laughter and communication as the keys to a successful marriage, Jordan also said sex and not being in competition with each other is important.

“There was never any jealousy between us. Like, ‘Oh, well, look what you’ve done in your career, and I’m not here, and I’m taking care of the kids,’” she said. “It’s always been, like, ‘You go do your dreams. You go make your stuff happen.’”

This summer, Jeff and Jordan are working together on a variety of exciting projects. In addition to their “Togethermess” podcast, the pair are recapping Big Brother episodes on Jeff and Jordan TV YouTube with a new digital show called “Couch Jury.”

With help from Creator Trust Studios, the pair share their no-filter thoughts on the unexpected twists that occur throughout the season.

“You can watch us live at home, and we’re watching Big Brother and commenting on what’s going on, our predictions, how we’re feeling about the season,” Jordan said. “Jeff works a little lifestyle show here in Colorado called Great Day Colorado. I do these Amazon Lives every Sunday, and it’s really catching on. We have new merch coming out too. Life is good.”

Jeff added, “We took some years off from Big Brother. … I didn’t want to be that guy 17 years later still commenting on Big Brother, but it’s such a big part of our lives.”

Big Brother airs on CBS Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 8 p.m. ET.
