Ariana Grande paused her concert Monday night to clarify her plans to temporarily retreat from public life following her “Eternal Sunshine” tour.
“Can we get a little real tonight?” the singer asked attendees at her Chicago show, per a video circulating on X.
The 33-year-old said in the four-minute speech, which she had written out on her phone, that “the announcement that was made yesterday was not a reactive or impulsive thing” and had been “blown out of proportion” online.
