When he’s not in the ballroom, Anton Du Beke devotes his time to his children, twins George and Henrietta. The Strictly Come Dancing judge shares the occasional family update on social media, and the latest photo of his nine-year-olds reveals they’re growing up in the spitting image of their father.
The ballroom dancer, 59, recently brought his wife, Hannah Summers, and their two children along for a family movie day to see Emma Thompson and Hugh Jackman’s new film, The Sheep Detectives, in London on 26 April. Anton later shared photos on social media from the special outing with his family of four, including his son, George, who had the exact same beaming smile on his face.
“Safe to say, it was a big yes from us,” Anton said of being invited to the star-studded event. The dancer’s daughter, Henrietta, looked pretty in pink and matched with her mum in a cardigan. George had his arm around his sister in another sweet family photo Anton shared from the outing.
The event was a star-studded affair with the likes of actor Chris O’Dowd, Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton, and Traitors winner Stephen Libby all in attendance.

Anton and Hannah secretly tied the knot in 2017 and welcomed their twins in March that same year. The pair, who celebrated 14 years together last month, had their children via IVF following Hannah’s battle with endometriosis.
“I knew I wanted to be with her, I saw her with her nephews. She’s so kind and so caring, I just couldn’t understand the universe,” Anton said about his wife and her health condition on Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast.
The dancer has shared photos with his wife and their kids from family trips to Disneyland and basketball games, as well as a recent visit to Universal Studios in Florida, where he revealed his twins are big fans of Harry Potter. “I think the children’s excitement for Harry Potter World is reaching rather impressive levels… and I’m not far behind them,” Anton captioned a clip from the outing.
Parenting approach
In 2021, Anton opened up to HELLO! exclusively about how he and Hannah have tried to avoid gender stereotyping as parents to their fraternal twins.
“We’ve told them, ‘You can do what you like, wear what you like,’ but George likes Spiderman and Hot Wheels, and Henrietta likes butterflies and unicorns,” he told us.
He added: “He crashes around more than she does. But there was no encouragement in either direction.”
