Amy Schumer has given fans a glimpse of her noticeably slimmer physique, and the reaction has been instant.
The 43-year-old comedian shared a photo of herself standing on a New York street at night, wearing a soft, feminine cream dress with puffed sleeves and a flattering cinched waist. The look highlighted her super svelte figure following her reported 50 lbs weight loss.
Keeping the styling simple, Amy paired the dress with dark heels, letting the silhouette and subtle floral detailing take centre stage. Her hair was worn down in loose waves, while the low lighting and city backdrop added to the understated, candid feel of the shot.
Fans quickly flooded the comments with praise, with many focusing on her glowing complexion as much as her figure.
âThe skin!â one wrote, while another added: âWhy she so pretty!?â. Others kept it simple but enthusiastic, posting: âGo amyyyyâ and a string of fire emojis. While Amy has never shied away from discussing her body and health, her recent transformation has sparked renewed conversation among fans, many of whom described her as âunrecognizableâ in comparison to her earlier public appearances.
The Trainwreck star has been open in the past about her approach to weight loss and wellbeing, revealing that her journey has been shaped by a combination of medical support, lifestyle changes and a focus on feeling her best rather than chasing unrealistic standards.
Back in 2025, during an appearance on Howard Sternâs SiriusXM show, Amy revealed the genetic condition that influenced her approach.
âI have this gene, GDF15, which makes you extremely prone to nausea, which is why I was so sick during my pregnancy,â she explained. She went on to detail her difficult experience with Ozempic, which she tried several years earlier.
âSo, I tried Ozempic almost three years ago and I was like bedridden,â she said. âI was like, vomiting and then you have no energy. But other people take it and theyâre all good. So, God bless them.â
The comedian recalled feeling as though the rapid weight loss came at too high a cost.
âI lost 30 pounds so quick,â Amy said. âI looked great, but I couldnât lift my head off the pillow. So whatâs the point?â
In contrast, Amy later shared that she had a far better experience with Mounjaro, which ultimately contributed to her current transformation.Â
The actress recently filed for divorce from her former partner Chris Fischer. The pair were married for almost eight years, and they share their seven-year-old son Gene together.
