Casualty is having a miniature break, with its usual slot next week being taken up by the Big Night of Musicals by the National Lottery. However, when the show does return, the staff at Holby City General will be facing a make-it-or-break-it moment.
CQC Inspector Ceri Mayland (Gwyneth Strong) returns after the previous inspection stripped the hospital of having its major trauma unit open during the nighttime. However, with Kim Changâs (Jasmine Bayes) condition deteriorating due to her ongoing eating disorder, will they pass?
Elsewhere on the episode, Siobhan McKenzieâs (Melanie Hill) sexual assault storyline comes to a head as she resolves to speak to her rapist following his arrest, however, her plans are put at risk as a riot breaks out in the prisonersâ waiting room.
And with Faith Cadogan (Kirsty Mitchell) and Iain Dean (Michael Stevenson) getting ready to welcome their child, will the popular couple be able to get their relationship back on track?

Flynn is prepared to resign if the inspection goes badly
The CQC return
Itâs a major day for Holby City General, with the hospital risking losing its major trauma unit for good depending on the CQC report. Flynn Byron (Olly Rix) and Siobhan ready their resignation letters, however, the inspection gets off to a bad start when Matty covers for Kimâs poor handwriting on blood forms meaning the tests need to be repeated⊠Can the staff turn everything around?

Kimâs condition continues to deteriorate as she hides her eating disorder from her colleagues, but the spotlight is on her when Ceri shadows her treatment of an escaped prisoner. Will Kim be able to handle the pressure?
Siobhan decides to face Chris Banfield in prison after he was finally arrested for sexually assaulting the nurse. However, tensions are high in the visiting room thanks to one of the prisoners, who eventually starts a riot before Siobhan can face her attacker. Pandemonium erupts when one of the prisoners is stabbed, is Siobhan putting herself in danger when she goes to treat him? And will she finally get closure over her attack?
Iain and Faith clash once again when he tries to check on her. Despite the sour mood between the two, Jacob Masters (Charles Venn) warms Iainâs heart when he shows his colleague a video of his own son as a child.
