Morgan Cozzi — the woman booted from a birthday party for Lily Allen’s producer because she’d “dated” Allen’s estranged husband, David Harbour — has spoken out about the awkward incident.
On Feb. 20, then model, 29, showed up to at the bash for Blue May at his Los Angeles home — the same place where they recorded Allen’s latest album, “West End Girl.”
Allen wasn’t at the party, but Cozzi — who was a guest’s plus-one — was asked to leave after pals of the “Smile” singer realized she had “dated” the “Stranger Things” star.
Pictures of the pair walking on a New York pier showed up in the press in November.
A month earlier, Allen, 40, had released her scathing the album in which she addressed the alleged infidelity in her open marriage to Harbour, 50.
But on Thursday, Cozzi told Page Six, “I have never dated him. We met in a park once and had a brief conversation and it was entirely platonic in nature. We are not in a relationship and never have been. In fact, I have not spoken with him since that day.”
“It’s unfortunate how easily people can assume the worst about a woman for simply speaking to a man,” she added, “I hope we can shift that mindset and celebrate the strength and grace women bring to the world.”
She wished Allen “every success on her brilliant album” and said that “here’s no ill-will [about the party] and genuinely hope everyone had a wonderful time celebrating!”
Allen filed for divorce last September. They married in 2020.
