The Traitors is a reality TV bloodbath.
Peacock’s Emmy-winning competition series follows a group of familiar faces across reality TV who play the ultimate murder mystery game. In the beginning, each player is secretly assigned as either a Faithful or a Traitor, setting the stage for an intense game of deception, strategy and survival.
Throughout their time in an ancient castle in Scotland, the players must complete high-stakes missions that can add money to the prize pot, all while the Traitors work in secret to avoid revealing their true identity. If the Faithfuls successfully eliminate all of the Traitors by the end, they split the winnings. But if even one Traitor remains, the Traitor keeps the entire jackpot for themselves.
Season 3 of the series brought together players from fan-favorite shows including Big Brother, Survivor and The Bachelorette, and saw jaw-dropping traitor-on-traitor warfare between Rob Mariano, Carolyn Wiger, Bob the Drag Queen and Danielle Reyes, who later recruited Faithful Britney Haynes. By the finale, which was released on March 6, five players remained: Reyes, Haynes, Gabby Windey, Dylan Efron, Dolores Catania and Lord Ivar Mountbatten.

Will there be a season 4 of The Traitors?
Good news, The Traitors fans! The hit reality show was renewed for a season 4 and 5 in August 2024, per Variety.
Who won season 3 of The Traitors?
After weeks of backstabbing, lies and deceit, four Faithfuls (the most in the show’s history!) came out on top in the end of season 3: Windey, Efron, Catania and Mountbatten.
At the start of the finale, original traitor Reyes had just been banished at the roundtable. By the end, one Traitor remained: Haynes, an original Faithful who had recently been recruited by Reyes.
In the end, the four Faithfuls voted her out. Rather than continuing to banish one another, the four trusted that no Traitors remained and decided to end the game.
So, what did they win? A $204,300 cash prize split four ways.
“Good triumphs evil every time!” Mountbatten emphasized after the big win.
(Oh, and spoiler alert: As for her winning wish, Windey tied the knot with comedian Robby Hoffman after the show!)

Peacock’s beloved eccentric host is coming back for more! Per Variety, Alan Cumming will return as the host for season 4 of The Traitors.
When will The Traitors season 4 premiere?
The release date for season 4 has not been revealed yet. The series has premiered in January in past years, so if season 4 follows suit, it’s possible it will be released in January 2026, with filming to take place in the summer of 2025 as it has in the past.
