Savannah Guthrie and her husband, Michael Feldman, both value family deeply.
The Today show star and her husband tied the knot in 2014, going on to build their lives around their loved ones, including their two kids, daughter Vale Guthrie Feldman and son Charles “Charley” Max Feldman.
While Guthrie’s career keeps her in the national spotlight, Feldman has maintained a more private profile. Renewed interest in the couple has emerged as the corporate consultant broke his silence on the disappearance of his mother-in-law, Nancy Guthrie, in January 2026.
A statement from Savannah that aired on the Today show noted, “On behalf of our family, I want to thank everyone for the thoughts, prayers and messages of support. Right now, our focus remains on the safe return of our dear mom. We thank law enforcement for their hard work on this case and encourage anyone with information to contact the Pima County Sheriff’s Department at 520-351-4900.”

Michael Feldman Spoke Out Amid Nancy Guthrie’s Disappearance
Michael Feldman stated that he didn’t “have anything new to report” after his mother-in-law, Nancy Guthrie, went missing on February 1, 2026. She was last seen on January 31, 2026, before a concerned friend reached out to authorities after Nancy didn’t attend that Sunday’s church service.
Feldman told Page Six he feels “mostly unhelpful” amidst the circumstances.
“We believe in prayer. we believe in voices raised in unison, in love, in hope,” Savannah wrote in her own statement on February 2, 2026. “We believe in humanity. above all, we believe in Him.”
She continued, “Thank you for lifting your prayers with ours for our beloved mom, our dearest Nancy, a woman of deep conviction, a good and faithful servant. Raise your prayers with us and believe with us that she will be lifted by them in this very moment.”
Authorities have revealed that Nancy “didn’t leave on her own” as she has mobility issues, and that her home is considered a crime scene.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos also addressed the possibility of a ransom being the motive in a statement to Us Weekly.
“No, there’s not, we’ve not heard anything like that,” Nanos exclusively told Us on February 2. Nanos added that they would “never rule out” any possibilities, but “there’s nothing to indicate” that being a motive in the case.
