Who is Brynn Whitfield on the Real Housewives of New York? Meet the Bravo reality star

The Real Housewives of New York City has given us some pretty iconic moments and introduced us to an array of characters.

Whether it was the fallout of Bethenny Frankel and Jill Zarin’s friendship in season three, or LuAnn and Tom quick marriage – and divorce – in season eight, the New York housewives didn’t leave us short of drama in the earlier seasons.

But with a cancelled reunion, it is safe to say that the ending to season 13 was pretty bleak.

Now the reboot is back with a bang, with six powerful ladies. And one drama starter’s name is on the tip of everyone’s tongue.

So who is the new Queen Bee that has brought the drama back to the east coast? Who exactly is Ms Brynn Whitfield? 

Who is Brynn Whitfield?

On the surface she is a New York socialite, a real-life Barbie, who brings glamour with her wherever she goes.

But after starting two fights in just one episode it’s clear to anybody who watches the show, Brynn gives a lot more than just glamorous looks.

In episode three she even gave us a peek into her family life, when she wished she had ‘an overbearing mother -in-law’.

Family relationships 

Brynn Whitfield, 36, was raised by her grandmother, Darlene, in the Midwest according to Hollywood Life.

As her grandmother lived in South Bend Indiana, there is some speculation that she also lived there too. 

Sadly, her beloved grandmother passed away in March 2021 and in a loving Mother’s Day tribute to Darlene, Brynn wrote: ‘Don’t call your mom today and only chat for a few obligatory minutes. 

‘Stay on the phone for as long as you possibly can, maybe even ask her if you can record the conversation. 

‘When you talk- Thank her over and over again for being your mom. Tell her you know she did her best, and her best was more than enough- in fact, it was perfect.’

Brynn doesn’t go into too much detail about her background and It is unclear who Brynn’s parents are.

She recently divulged in the latest RHONY episode that she doesn’t have a relationship with her biological parents.  

She also mentioned that she has siblings, a sister called Trina and brother named and Daris. 

But beyond that – Ms Whitfield’s family background remains a mystery.

Who is Brynn’s partner?

Brynn is currently single. Yes – you heard that right, this brunette diva is an independent woman.

But from her Bravo bio as a self-titled ‘trophy wife in training’, it sounds like she is on the prowl for a new love interest.

She isn’t the only newbie on the block who is single. Fellow castmates Jenna Lyons and Ubah Hassan are also flying solo this season. 

What is Brynn’s net worth?

Much like her background, Brynn’s net worth is also under wraps – but that hasn’t stopped many taking guesses at how much the glamorous socialite is worth.

Her net worth allegedly sits at a whopping $3 million, which is at the top end of the scale for the New York cast, according to Distractify.

Regardless of her net worth, it’s clear Brynn isn’t short on dough to spend, as she calls the much sought-after West Village in Manhattan her home.

What is Brynn’s job? 

Brynn doesn’t just bring the beauty, she also brings the brains too. 

The New Yorker seems to be a jack of all trades. As well as being a certified yoga, she is a communications pro.

She now freelances as a Marketing Communications Consultant, however she was previously a PR Lead at Assembly.

She also graduated with a Bachelors in Communication-Public Relations & Advertising from Purdue University, according to her LinkedIn.

But it isn’t all work and no play – she is a jet setter too.

Over the last year, the glam New Yorker has visited Paris, St Barth’s, Palm Springs and more. 

Lisa Vanderpump is her inspiration

The beautiful housewife isn’t too different from the rest of us after all, citing the one and only LVP has her inspirations.

Brynn became acquainted with the icon, who brought us Vanderpump Rules, in her twenties via Lisa’s daughter Pandora.

She told Page Six: ‘You know, Lisa’s always making her innuendos and what not, so I was like you know what? F**k it I’m just gonna talk about d**k, [make] a couple of jokes!’
