As the NFL says goodbye to the 2024 season and Super Bowl LIX, there is no better time to start planning for the next two championships.
After the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in New Orleans, Santa Clara, Calif. will host Super Bowl LX at Leviâs Stadium in 2026. Super Bowl LXI will be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. in 2027.
Leviâs Stadium is home to the San Francisco 49ers and SoFi Stadium is home to both Los Angeles teams, the Chargers and the Rams. The NFL selected the venues in May 2023 and December 2023, respectively.
Leviâs Stadium will host the event for the second time after hosting Super Bowl 50 in 2016. It will be the third time the Super Bowl has been held in the Bay Area. The first-ever Bay Area Super Bowl was in 1985 for Super Bowl XIX at Stanford Stadium â when the 49ers earned their second Super Bowl championship title.
