After Madison Chock won silver with her ice skating partner and husband Evan Bates during the 2026 Winter Olympics, she continued living on cloud nine when she got back to the States.
Madison attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party on March 15 and was starstruck just like the rest of us would be at the Hollywood gathering.
The Olympian exclusively shared with HELLO! which celebrity interactions were the highlight of her luxurious evening.
She recalled: “I honestly loved meeting – we got to meet the whole Hudson clan. We had fun together and we got to meet Kate Hudson and Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn and it was just so fun.”
The family was in attendance to support Kate’s Oscar nomination for Best Actress for her role in Song Sung Blue.
The experience was a pinch-me moment for Madison, who grew up being a huge fan and watching their movies.
The athlete added: “They were so sweet, and it was kind of surreal to see them in person after growing up watching their movies Overboard and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. So it was really cool to see them. They were so kind and so sweet and it was a really fun time.”
Madison’s night out in Hollywood
On top of that, the evening served as a reunion with fellow athletes.
Madison expressed: “Oh my gosh, it was such a fun time, especially to be able to share that with Alyssa [Liu]. Just have our little girl day. It was really fun. We enjoyed the In-N-Out burger at the Vanity Fair party. We definitely had the milkshakes and enjoyed it.”
The ice skater also showcased gratitude for the love that she felt from everyone in attendance.
She shared: “The reception as athletes was amazing. Everyone was so excited about the Olympics still, and it was just so cool to see the enthusiasm that other artists have for our unique artistic sport.”
Madison added: “I think there was a real fun crossover that happened between the athletes and the Hollywood world.”
