Melissa Joan Hartâs positive energy is contagious! The Sabrina the Teenage Witch star turned 50 in April, and marked the milestone occasion with her friends at the end of August.Â
The group of women â who were all celebrating the same milestone birthday â had fun dancing on the beach while ârefusingâ to acknowledge their age!Â
Melissa looked stylish in a blue bikini teamed with a matching cover-up as she let loose at the beach â which can be viewed in the footage below. In the caption, the mother-of-three wrote: âOfficially 50, but my inner 20-something refuses to acknowledge it #thisis50 *edit to add: my birthday was in April, but Iâm celebrating all my friends turning 50 too!!! #keepthepartygoing.âÂ
Fans adored the video, with one commenting: âHow absolutely FUN!â while another wrote: âYes ladies!â A third added: âFind it hard to belive youâre the big 50, I grew up watching Sabrina.âÂ
Melissa is feeling more confident than ever, and recently opened up about transforming her lifestyle with some simple health changes â that have had incredible benefits.Â
The actress cut sugar and alcohol from her diet, resulting in a 18 Ibs weight loss. She told People: âI just wanted to feel better. It had nothing to do with losing weight. I really didnât think I could lose weight anymore, being in midlife and perimenopause and all those things, I was like, âCan I really lose weight? I donât think I can.'âÂ
However, Melissa proved herself wrong, and went on to add: âI lost about 18 pounds last year.â The star initially just wanted to âfeel betterâ but realised that by âfasting and cutting sugars and cutting alcohol,â she saw results. âI cut these things out of my life, and I started to feel better. And in doing that, I lost a lot of weight and kind of feel great,â she said.Â
Melissa often shares snippets of her life on social media, including updates on her family life. The actress is a doting mom to sons Mason, 20, Braydon, 18, and Tucker, 13, who she shares with husband Mark Wilkerson.Â
The family lives in Connecticut, having relocated from Nashville during the pandemic. The star recently opened up to HELLO! about her parenting style, and how she is raising her sons to be aware of their privilege.Â
In 2019 she visited Zambia with her eldest son and returned in 2023 with all three of her sons, where they saw firsthand how aid provides clean water, education, and sustainable income for communities.Â
âThe second time in 2023 we took the whole family, and we decided to sponsor three girls because we have three boys and we said, âEvery boy needs a sister!â she said.
