Paris Hilton is giving a glimpse at her Malibu home after it was destroyed in the devastating ongoing Los Angeles wildfires.
In an Instagram video shared Friday, the DJ entered the smoldering ruins of her home. Two small flames were still burning in separate areas of the ash-covered rubble.
Nothing remained of the waterfront mansion except its front entrance and what appears to be part of its concrete and steel foundation.
A few pieces of scorched wall were left standing but not salvageable and a metal railing or fence rested on top of the pile of debris.
âIâm standing here in what used to be our home, and the heartbreak is truly indescribable.đđ„ș,â Hilton, 43, penned in a lengthy caption alongside the video.
âWhen I first saw the news, I was in complete shockâI couldnât process it. But now, standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart has shattered into a million pieces.đąđ.â
âThis house wasnât just a place to liveâ It was where we dreamed, laughed, and created the most beautiful memories as a family,â she continued.
âIt was where Phoenixâs little hands made art that Iâll cherish forever, where love and life filled every corner. To see it reduced to ashes⊠itâs devastating beyond words.đ.â
She shares her son Phoenix, 23 months, and daughter London, 1, with her husband, Carter Reum, 43.
Despite the pain she is feeling, the âSimple Lifeâ alum confirmed she knows how âincredibly luckyâ she is that her entire family is safe, including her pets.
âThatâs the most important thing, and Iâm holding onto that gratitude with everything I have,â she added. âAnd beyond grateful to all the the fire fighters, first responders and volunteers risking their lives to fight these fires.đ„șđ.â
She also thanked her fans for their messages of love and ended with a note for those affected and everyone else watching the devastation unfold from afar.
âTo everyone going through this pain, please know youâre not alone. Weâre in this together. We will rebuild, we will heal, and we will rise stronger than before,â she wrote.
âLet this be a reminder to hold your loved ones close. Cherish the moments. Life can change in an instant, and itâs the love we share that truly matters.â
Hilton and Reum purchased the waterfront getaway for $8.4 million in 2021 while they were still engaged.
Their primary family home in Beverly Hills, Calif., has not been affected and the city remains free from evacuation orders.
The âStars Are Blindâ singer confirmed she and her family were safe via an Instagram update on Wednesday while simultaneously reacting to their beach house being reduced to ashes.
At the time, she said she was âheartbroken beyond wordsâ and that her 11:11 Media Impact team was actively planning how to help victims.
Of course, Hilton is far from the only celebrity to lose their home in the disastrous Los Angeles fires.
Miles Teller, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, Anna Faris, Eugene Levy and Milo Ventimiglia are just a few of the numerous stars who have been displaced.
