Apple TVâs latest psychological thriller has had viewers glued to their screens. The eight-part series, titled Imperfect Women, debuted with its first two episodes on Wednesday, and fans are already counting down the days until episode three is released.Â
The compelling series, which HELLO!âs TV writer Abby Allen described as a âfamiliar yet twisty Apple TV whodunnitâ in her 3.5-star review, follows three fortysomething best friends Eleanor (Kerry Washington), Mary (Elisabeth Moss) and Nancy (Kate Mara), whose lives are shattered when one of them is murdered.Â
Not only is the drama led by TV thriller queens, Elisabeth Moss (The Handmaidâs Tale) and Kerry Washington (Scandal), but its creator Annie Weisman is no stranger to creating gripping drama, having worked on the hit shows, Desperate Housewives and Physical.

Based on Araminta Hallâs novel of the same name, the eight-part series follows three womenâEleanor, Mary, and Nancy â who have been best friends for decades. But when Nancy is murdered, the investigation uncovers scandalous secrets, prompting the friends to ask how well they really know each other.
The synopsis reads: âThe unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that alter our lives irrevocably. As the investigation unravels, so does the truth about how even the closest friendships may not be what they seem.â

Itâs safe to say viewers are loving the addictive new drama and were hooked after just one episode.Â
