Victoria Beckham took to Instagram on Thursday evening to share a snapshot of herself wearing a pretty, negligee-style slip dress, designed in a striking baby blue.
It appeared that the former Spice Girlâs try-on session took place in her style studio, located in the building she owns for her eponymous fashion label.
The dress was quite a change for the 51-year-old. VB famously enjoys modern tailoring in bold colours such as black, white and navy, but this style had a coquettish lace-trimmed hem, a graduated skirt and feminine spaghetti straps. Designed in a delicate, springtime pastel blue, itâs a colour she doesnât normally wear, but we think it suits her olive skin tone and petite frame.
The mother-of-four teamed the style with high heels and wore her newly ombrĂ© hair in a loose wave. âSunny day for fittings,â she penned alongside the shot.
Victoria Beckham, the profitable fashion label
Victoriaâs net worth is estimated at around ÂŁ70 million, largely thanks to her fashion brand. Loved by a sea of Hollywoodâs most influential actresses, in 2017, it won her an OBE for contributions to the fashion industry, presented by Prince William.
Despite celebrity and royal fans, Victoriaâs luxury label has struggled to turn a profit over the years, and losses were ÂŁ12.5 million in 2018, ballooning to ÂŁ16.6 million in 2019. The pandemic only exacerbated these financial woes, with supply chain issues and declining luxury spending cementing the brandâs struggles.
Victoria touched on the struggles her label had amassed in her 2025 Netflix documentary. Luckily, Ralph Toledano, a fashion industry veteran, was brought on board as chairman in 2018, which helped turn things around.
Since then, the brand has reached new, profitable heights and is deemed a luxury brand alongside other designer counterparts.
Victoria is now widely regarded as a fashion designer in her own right and no longer defined by her pop star past. As a fashion editor who has been following her career for over fifteen years, I feel she has consistently evolved the label, from moving into makeup with her Victoria Beckham Beauty line to showing her collections at fashion week, year after year.
