Victoria Beckham has revealed her Christmas celebrations role — and it’s a crucial one.
“I do not do the cooking, I prepare the drinks,” the fashion designer, 50, said during an interview with Zanna Roberts Rassi on the Dec. 16 episode of Hoda & Jenna. “I’ll be the bartender — someone’s got to do it.”
Instead, her husband, former professional soccer player David Beckham, 49, has it handled.
“David will be doing the cooking, he’s actually a really good cook,” Victoria explained during the interview. “He loves the whole prep.”
In September, Victoria shared with The Telegraph how she avoids stress in her life, and part of it is by staying out of the kitchen: “By not taking on anything I genuinely don’t think I can do. Oh and by not cooking.”
“Harper says I can burn water, so it’s probably better for everyone that I don’t [cook],” Victoria told The Telegraph.
Victoria and David share four kids — Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 7 — and they are all well aware of Victoria’s lack of culinary talent.
Earlier this year, Brooklyn said that he loves cooking because of his father. In an interview with the British news outlet The Times, he, too, poked fun at his mother’s cooking ability.
“My dad was always the one cooking in the house, my mum not so much,” he explained of David and Victoria at the time. “I just loved hanging out with him in the kitchen, I loved the smell of food.”

Brooklyn often shares food content of his own on social media. He even had a 2021-2022 Facebook watch series called Cookin’ with Brooklyn. In the show, he teamed up with professional chefs or celebrities to create unique culinary dishes.
Nowadays, Brooklyn says the Beckham kids cook together. “We never say it’s like a competition, even though we give each other a bit of stick about it — that’s just what brothers do. All of us in the kitchen. Just listening to music, cooking together, it’s fun,” Brooklyn said in the Times interview. “The best.”
