Vanessa Trump has publicly rallied around her boyfriend Tiger Woods following his recent arrest, sharing a rare personal message on social media.

Taking to Instagram stories on Friday, April 3 2026, Vanessa posted a cosy photo of the couple relaxing together on a hammock. The pair, who have been dating since 2025, have largely kept their relationship out of the spotlight, making Vanessa’s post all the more notable.

Tiger, 50, was arrested after a vehicle incident on March 27 in Jupiter Island, Florida, where he has lived for several years. According to reports, he was charged with DUI, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test. He has since pleaded not guilty.

Details from the arrest report allege that officers observed Tiger’s behaviour as “lethargic and slow,” and said he struggled to follow directions during sobriety testing. While he reportedly registered zero alcohol on a breathalyser, authorities stated that pills were found in his possession, later identified as hydrocodone – a medication commonly prescribed for severe pain.

The incident has sparked widespread attention, with Donald Trump also weighing in. Speaking in a phone interview, he defended Tiger, noting the athlete’s long-standing physical struggles.

“He lives a life of pain,” Donald said, referencing injuries to Tiger’s back and leg. “He’s an amazing guy
 an amazing athlete.”

Vanessa, who was previously married to Donald Trump Jr. from 2005 to 2018, has not commented further – but her brief message made one thing clear: she is standing firmly by Tiger’s side.

On March 31, Tiger took to X to speak out for the first time since the arrest, sharing: “I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today. I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health.”

“This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery,” he continued. “I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”

The PGA Tour then followed up with a statement that read: “Tiger Woods is a legend of our sport whose impact extends far beyond his achievements on the course. But above all else, Tiger is a person, and our focus is on his health and well‑being. Tiger continues to have our full support as he takes this important step.”
