Vanessa Hudgens is returning to the red carpet after welcoming her first baby with husband Cole Tucker.

On Sunday, March 2, the High School Musical alum, 36, was joined by Tucker, 28, for a date night at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills.

Dressed to impress, Hudgens looked radiant as she posed at the star-studded bash wearing a one shoulder black Dolce & Gabbana gown with feather details.

The actress showed some leg thanks to the glam get-up’s thigh-high slit. She added some extra height to the look with a pair of chunky black platform heels.

Hudgens completed the ensemble with a chic up ‘do, a smoky eye and some nude lipstick. Meanwhile, Tucker looked dapper in an all-black suit.

The couple’s appearance comes nearly a year after Hudgens revealed they were expecting their first baby together on the Oscars red carpet on March 10, 2024. The former Disney star cradled her baby bump in a black long-sleeved, floor-length Vera Wang dress at the time.

In July 2024, news broke that Hudgens and baseball shortstop Tucker — who tied the knot in a jungle wedding in Tulum, Mexico in December 2023 — welcomed their first baby together, with TMZ first reporting the birth.

At the time, Hudgens acknowledged that she wasn’t the first to share her baby news, in a post on her Instagram Stories.

“We’re disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media,” she wrote in the July 4 post.

Hudgens added, “Despite all of that, mom dad and baby are happy and healthy.”

The mother-of-one’s red carpet appearance on Sunday comes after she told E! News in November that she’s become “such a comfy girl” when it comes to style as she’s gotten older.

“It’s so funny because I used to be so about dressing up and themes every moment I could get. The older that I get, the more practical I get. Life is chaotic and hectic. I don’t need to make it any more stressful than it needs to be. So, I keep things cozy,” she insisted, per the outlet.

“It really is about what works for you that day and having grace for yourself because it will change,” Hudgens said.
