Nina Dobrev’s red carpet moment was cut short.
The actress was seemingly rushed off the red carpet at the 2026 Venice Film Festival in an awkward moment caught on camera Wednesday, per a viral social media video.
In the video, the “Vampire Diaries” star was seen posing for cameras and fans before being approached by a security guard, who tapped his watch and gestured for her to move along.
A confused Dobrev initially tried to ignore the direction and continued posing for the camera, showing off her vintage-inspired Armani Privé gown.
However, when a second official stepped forward to usher the “Degrassi” alum away, Dobrev could not hide the dismay on her face.
The 37-year-old frowned for the cameras and tried to laugh it off as she walked away.
Fans online couldn’t get over the awkward encounter, with many unable to tell who was in the wrong.
“I would simply cease to exist from the embarrassment 😭,” one wrote via X.
“I felt embarrassed for her,” a second commented, while another one added, “Did she stay too long, or was it their lack of organization? Either way, it was embarrassing.”
A fourth remarked, “There’s no need to do that to her.”
The awkward encounter took place at the world premiere of Danny Boyle’s drama “Ink.”
Dobrev paired her vintage-inspired Armani Privé gown with a slicked-back bun and bold glam makeup.
Many other stars, including Kendall Jenner, Amal Clooney and Sydney Sweeney, are attending the prestigious event this year.
