Sean “Diddy” Combs will no longer be one of the most famous faces at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Luigi Mangione, the 26-year-old accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in broad daylight in New York City on Dec. 4, will be housed at the same federal prison, according to CNN.

The Ivy League graduate was extradited to New York from Pennsylvania Thursday. After the state indicted him for first-degree murder, he was also hit with several federal charges, including murder and stalking.

Combs, 55, meanwhile, has been at MDC since his arrest on Sept. 16. He has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution following a months-long federal probe.

Feds believe the disgraced music mogul, who has pleaded not guilty, committed his sex crimes while hosting nefarious parties dubbed “Freak-Offs” throughout a span of at least two decades.

It’s unclear if Combs and Mangione will cross paths amid their respective incarcerations. Reps for both did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

However, it appears that the Bad Boy Records founder and the handsome slaying suspect will be held at MDC since it is the only federal prison in New York City within close proximity to Manhattan federal court, where both men need to attend their cases’ hearings.

Combs, for his part, has tried to be released from the Brooklyn jail as he waits his May 5, 2025, trial date, but has been denied bail three times.

A reporter who attended a hearing for the “Bad Boy for Life” rapper earlier this week claimed he is withering away, noting he seemed “astonishingly thinner” and “grayer” than when he was a free man.

However, a source close to Combs exclusively denied to Page Six that prison was taking a toll.

A source said the rapper, who works out regularly, is “fit, healthy and fully focused on his defense.”

“He has been very active, remains in good spirits, and, as always, he was happy to see his children,” the insider added.

Previous inmates have pointed out MDC’s harsh conditions, though, before, with one ex-con sharing, “You’re allowed a few basics, like a tracksuit and sneakers from the commissary, but that’s about it.”

Timothy Smith added to Daily Mail Australia in October, “They do raids, and if you try to stockpile, they take everything. People think there are TVs and radios, but where he’s at, there’s nothing, not even a radio. You get a Bible and one book per week. That’s all.”

An attorney for Edwin Cordero, an inmate killed at MDC due to an injury he sustained in a fight, also described the facility as “an overcrowded, understaffed and neglected federal jail that is hell on Earth.”

The concrete structure, which opened in 1994 and houses more than 1,200 people, has been plagued by bloody fights, food contamination, murder and suicides, according to the New York Times.

An electrical fire reportedly once left inmates without heat in the middle of freezing temperatures.

In addition to Combs and Mangione’s reported prison connection, the two share an interesting association via their respective attorneys, Marc Agnifilo and Karen Friedman-Agnifilo, who are married.
