Uma Thurman could be mistaken for famous daughter in striking new pictures

Uma Thurman is certainly defying any signs of ageing. The actress looked strikingly similar to her daughter, Maya Hawke, as she stepped out for the Prada spring/summer 2027 show during Milan Fashion Week.

The 56-year-old graced the event clad head-to-toe in the Italian fashion house. Uma wore a red three-quarter sleeve top that featured a high neckline. The garment was styled with a khaki pleated maxi skirt trimmed with brown satin detailing. The ensemble was styled with pointed-toe black pumps and a pair of oversized sunglasses.

Uma’s luscious blonde locks were styled into soft waves with a middle parting while her makeup was left natural and radiant, courtesy of a glowing complexion and a glossy lip.

The actress’s daughter, Maya, is no stranger to a Prada ensemble, and even wore a similar outfit to her mom last year when she attended the Broadway opening of John Proctor is the Villain at the Booth Theatre in Midtown Manhattan. She donned a brown leather trench coat and gray midi skirt that featured a ’60s pleated silhouette. The elegant look was layered over a green knitted jumper and paired with semi-sheer stockings. Maya topped off her look with a touch of high fashion as she donned a pair of patent black Prada loafers.

The mother-and-daughter duo share a close relationship. The Stranger Things actress opened up about her perceived nepotism during an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast last year. “There are so many people who deserve to have this kind of life who don’t, but I think I’m comfortable with not deserving it and doing it anyway,” she said.

“And I know that me not doing it wouldn’t help anyone. I saw two paths when I was first starting, and one of them was: change your name, get a nose job and go to open casting roles. It’s okay to be made fun of when you’re in rarefied air,” she added.

Maya tied the knot on Valentine’s Day 2026 in New York City, marrying musician Christian Lee Hutson. Speaking with People, the 27-year-old revealed that she and Christian purchased a home in upstate New York, where Uma also owns a home, reportedly in the Woodstock area of the Catskills.

“I just got myself a home a couple of blocks away from my mom,” she shared.  “I’m so excited to finally be able to put some roots down.”
