Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Travis Kelce rewore two date-night pieces for his latest “New Heights” podcast episode, which comes out on Wednesday.
In Tuesday’s teaser, the athlete donned a black Tribeca hat — the same one he wore during a December dinner date with girlfriend Taylor Swift.
While Kelce previously paired the Nahmias trucker hat with a chunky beige cardigan and simple black tee, he opted for a more laid-back look this time around.
Kelce looked comfortable in a blue Marni short-sleeved shirt as he chatted with brother and co-host Jason Kelce. Travis joined the video call from an unknown location as he and Swift are rumored to have gone on a much-needed vacation.
The Kansas City Chiefs star wore the same bright knit while grabbing a bite to eat with the singer, 35, in October 2024.
Kelce notably purchased the Tribeca hat and colorful shirt from the same upscale designer store in New York City.
Swifties quickly recognized both pieces from his outings with the “Fortnight” singer, leading them to believe she was one of the surprise guests on this week’s episode.
“Happy New Heights Eve to all who celebrate,” the official podcast page tweeted alongside an image of the two brothers.
“Any last minute guesses for our guests? (Hint: this picture might help).”
Fans immediately flooded the comment section with their guesses, with many hopeful X users putting their money on the pop star.
“call me insane but he wore that shirt out with taylor and that hat out with taylor,” one fan wrote.
“That’s the same blue shirt Travis was wearing when he was on a date with Taylor,” another responded. “I hope that the clue is for Taylor as the guest but I would not be that lucky. (Sigh).”
A third fan simply replied with pictures from the pair’s outings, adding, “oh you know what you’re doing … and it isn’t kind 🤞.”
However, their dreams were doused after the Tkachuk brothers were announced as the special guests.
Despite the Swifties’ disappointment, listeners can still expect an exciting episode from two of the most popular sets of brothers in professional sports.
Brady and Matthew Tkachuk made headlines for getting into fights just nine seconds into the USA’s first match-up against Canada during the NHL’s Four Nations Face-Off last week.
The tournament marked the first time the two have played for the same team during their professional hockey careers.
While Matthew, 27, is a star on the Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers, his younger brother Brady, 25, is captain of the Ottawa Senators.
