Tori Spelling admits she felt a bit guilty for her stardom following her Scream 2 cameo.

During the Wednesday, March 19, episode of her iHeartRadio misSPELLING podcast, the movie star and host, 51, spoke to her Scream 2 costar Jamie Kennedy about how surprised she was to land the cover of Rolling Stone following a small scene in the 1997 thriller.

After thanking Kennedy, 54, for gifting the cast silver rings as wrap gifts when the movie ended, Spelling asked her guest if he would put in a good word for her to return in Stab.

Stab was a horror franchise within Scream, where Spelling starred as Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott.

“I played Sidney Prescott. She doesn’t die. I mean, she took one movie off in the franchise, but she’s back,” Spelling said, hinting at ways she could reprise the role.

“You know, there’s a whole Stab world waiting to be explored,” Kennedy added, with Spelling noting that fan theories are big on Reddit.

Spelling continued, “I’m such a small part of your giant franchise and I am inundated happily with Stab stuff weekly. There’s posters, there’s T-shirts. I was like, ‘Yes! I finally have my face on a feature on somebody’s tits.’ ”

The nostalgia of it all made Kennedy remember when the ladies of Scream 2 were asked to shoot with Rolling Stone for a spread titled “The Girls of Scream,” released around the same time as an in-depth article from the publication titled “The Scream Team.”

“Isn’t it wild? I remember when the movie, the first one came out, it just became slowly, slowly became a thing. And then they were like Scream 2 and I remember you guys’ Rolling Stone shoot, and I mean you were the cover,” Kennedy said.

“Oh my gosh, can we talk about that for a second?” Spelling said. “I’ve never talked about that Rolling Stone cover with any other cast member from Scream.”

“That was a little crazy,” she said.

Spelling explained, “Okay, so our listeners know what we’re talking about: When Scream 2 was coming out, Rolling Stone wanted to do all the females of Scream  2, and they asked me to be in it. And I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, are you f—— kidding me?’ ”

“I was super psyched, even though I had like a tiny roll in it,” she said, adding that the photoshoot lasted all day and into the night.

She continued, “We did group shots and we did individual shots … all portraying like a famous scary movie, and mine was Psycho in the shower.”

According to Spelling, “scheduling issues” led to her getting a solo cover showing the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum topless with a red lip on the magazine’s cover.

She also recalled the issue having a “fold out” that included her with the main cast.

“I just remember showing up at the Scream 2 premiere with my like, head hanging down because I was so ashamed,” Spelling told Kennedy, adding, “They deserve to be on the cover and I got made the cover.”

Still, Spelling said the ladies of Scream 2 — which included Campbell, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Courteney Cox and Jada Pinkett Smith — were supportive of her big magazine moment.
