Tom Sandoval has become a reality competition guru following the end of the original Vanderpump Rules, but he hasn’t ruled out appearing on its spinoff, The Valley.
“I’ve gone back and forth about The Valley, you know, wanting to be on it, not wanting to be on it,” Sandoval, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday, March 4, while promoting his current run on season 3 of Peacock’s House of Villains.
Sandoval revealed, “I would be open to something, but it just depends on where I’m at in my life and, like, what’s happening. Obviously I’m not fully opposed to doing that.”
The reality star noted that he has been approached to do “a quick little cameo on there [like a] pop in,” but hasn’t been asked to join the cast.
Sandoval shared that if he was asked to be on The Valley, which premiered in 2024 and stars several Vanderpump Rules alums, he’s not sure his girlfriend, Victoria Lee Robinson, would want to take part.
“She goes back and forth about it,” he said. “It can be overwhelming. I mean, you know, she sees how polarizing and how intense the fans can be.”
Sandoval added that his girlfriend of two years “obviously knows” what he went through during his time on the show, which makes her a “little apprehensive” to do it herself.
Sandoval starred on Vanderpump Rules from 2013 until its end in 2024. The series was rebooted with a new cast in November 2025.
The original cast ended their run after 11 seasons and following the explosive affair between Sandoval and Raquel Leviss, later dubbed “Scandoval,” which transpired in 2023. (Sandoval cheated on girlfriend and costar Ariana Madix, sending shockwaves through the cast.)
In the aftermath of Scandoval, Sandoval told Us he’s been “focusing on what is important in life, and learning from your bad choices and mistakes, and just trying to move forward and be a good person as much as you can.”
He said he’s been trying to “have a positive effect on the world and people around [him].”
Sandoval explained that the situation “pulled me a lot away from, like, social media and really [has me] just being more present in the everyday life.”
He confirmed he’s “moved on” and doesn’t “really think about it in the same way.”
Having been away from reality TV — Sandoval has done competition shows like The Traitors, which focuses less on one’s personal life — has given Sandoval time to breathe.
He told Us that he’s now OK with the idea of reuniting with his former Vanderpump Rules castmates for a different show if the opportunity arises.
“I wish they would have continued on our story,” Sandoval said when asked about the new version of the Bravo show. “Obviously, I feel like we definitely had and have more to tell and more for people to see.”
He mused, “Maybe they’ll bring us back, all back together again.”
With casts like OG stars of The Real Housewives of New York City coming back together for an E! docuseries, Sandoval teased that “it could happen” that the Vanderpump Rules cast does a different iteration of their show down the line.
“I mean, I don’t see why it wouldn’t [happen],” he added.
As fans wait to see if Sandoval will in fact reunite with his former castmates on camera, they can watch him compete on House of Villains.
“It has been my favorite show, competition shows, in general, I’ve loved them because, like, the drama that comes out of it is mainly having to do with the competition and being in the situation,” Sandoval told Us of House of Villains. “Versus, like, you know, Vanderpump Rules is like, about the interpersonal relationships drama, which is not nearly as fun and sucks, you get blindsided, and all that kind of stuff.”
He called the Peacock show “fun” because after doing a challenge, you can get immunity. “Even if you do get in the bottom three, you can win the redemption challenge to get out of elimination,” Sandoval explained.
He teased that based on the show title, “Everybody’s sort of been labeled as a ‘villain,’ and you, in a way, get to just see and get to know everybody better for, like, who they really are. And it was really nice.”
