Tom Brady calls leather pants ‘actually really comfortable’ in GQ interview

All it took was one turn on the runway to make Tom Brady a “leather pants guy.”

Just a few months after walking in Gucci’s cruise show, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has snagged a starring role in the fashion house’s fall 2026 campaign — modeling the same black leather look he debuted on the catwalk, of course.

“I’d never really done leather on leather before, but there are some leather pants in my closet now. I thought, ‘Damn, that’s actually really comfortable,” the 49-year-old football great told GQ.

“I could see why people wear this. It’s definitely a different look. It felt more like a uniform — there was a rigidity and a structure to it, like my football uniform.”

Brady described making his runway debut for Gucci in the middle of Times Square as “really surreal” and “as unique” as any experience he’s ever had.

That said, you probably won’t catch him wearing skintight leather trousers ever day.

“I just want things that are really simple, really comfortable, but also very stylish,” Brady told the outlet.
