Al Roker took a break from Today over the past week and weekend, but for good reason.
The TV star spent some time getting some rest from his demanding schedule, to unwind in Paris with his wife Deborah Roberts over the weekend.
Al returned to work on Tuesday, August 4 and has been back at his usual spot since.
The journalist shared a heartwarming look into the couple’s romantic downtime overseas on social media.
He captioned his sweet slideshow: “Two years ago, we were after the #2024parisolympics and today we wrap up a visit to Paris two years later, as the Olympic Cauldron soars above the Jardin Tuileries.”
The pair took in the scenic views while rocking athleisure for their first visit in 2024.
Al donned a blue sweatsuit, gray shorts, black sneakers, a black cap and black sunglasses.
Deborah was seen wearing a black sweatshirt with an illustration of a heart, black leggings and white and yellow sneakers.

Deborah was seen wearing a gray t-shirt, white shorts with stripes, and navy blue sneakers.
Fans loved seeing the duo explore together and flocked to the comments to cheer the pair on.
One person wrote: “Oh what an incredible sight.” A second fan added: “Amazing moment.” A third follower commented: “Safe traveling Al and Deborah.”

Al also shared another sweet moment from their trip which included a stop at a restaurant that he visited previously with their daughter Leila Roker.
He captioned the post: “Leila and I stumbled upon @lafontainedemars nine years ago when she moved here for what was supposed to be one year of college at @aupinstagram. I knew that was not going to be the case. It has become a comfort food place for us.”
The journalist continued: “Now, @leilaroker is off, galivanting with her husband , @gricourt.thegreat and their trusty sidekick, @clouseau @debrobertsabc and I enjoyed one last day in #paris at a wonder haunt with fabulous memories.”

The TV star went for a walk around the Eiffel Tower and he captioned his video: “A brisk walk on a beautiful #Paris #saturdaymorning Blue skies but a little scent of #widfiresmoke carried on a gentle breeze.”
In the clip he shared: “Today is a great day in Paris – beautiful. Temperatures are down, which is great…Hope your weather is gorgeous wherever you are – whatever you need. I hope you get that weather today. In the meantime, have a good one and talk to you later.”
