Taylor Rousseau Griggâs cause of death has been determined.
The TikToker died on Oct. 4 at age 25 after suffering complications from asthma and Addisonâs disease, a spokesperson for her family told TODAY.com.
Addisonâs disease is an uncommon chronic condition that occurs when the body doesnât produce enough of the cortisol and aldosterone hormones, according to the Mayo Clinic. The illness is also known as adrenal insufficiency, as it affects the adrenal glands of the kidneys. It can be fatal if left untreated, per the NHS.Â
Prior to her death, Taylor was open about her health journey as well as her life as a self-described âasthmatic.â In an Instagram post shared in March, the Texas-based influencer shared several photos from a hostpital bed, including a snapshot of herself hooked into what appeared to be a breathing machine.
âMy good days may look different than yours,â she wrote in the caption, âbut my bad days remind me how precious the good ones of mine truly are.â
