The Dropout star Amanda Seyfried admitted she ‘feels’ for Elizabeth Holmes’ two young children as the fraudster is set to report to prison today.
Speaking on Good Morning America, Seyfried, 37, said she regretted Holmes’ impending prison sentence because ‘those two kids are hanging in the balance.’
‘As a parent, as a mom, I’m just like… life’s not fair,’ she added. ‘But in a lot of ways, it’s fair for her in particular.’
The actress’ comments came as Holmes, who Seyfried played in hit miniseries The Dropout depicting the rise and fall of controversial tech firm Theranos, is reportedly on her way to Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Texas.

Elizabeth Holmes spent her last Memorial Day weekend as a free woman having some quality time with her family in San Diego
The convicted fraudster has exhausted her attempts at delaying her prison sentence after she previously delayed her time behind bars several times.
In her last hours of freedom, she was seen soaking up the sun with her family over Memorial Day weekend.
Holmes appeared to be in good spirits as she enjoyed her final days with her partner Billy Evans and their two young children.
But she is now set to surrender to a federal facility miles away from the $9 million luxury San Diego mansion she shares with her family – which is expected to be Camp Bryan, a minimum security jail.
The Theranos fraudster will be among several high-profile inmates inside the prison, alongside Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah, who reported to Bryan in February to start a six-and-a-half-year sentence for her part in a telemarketing scam that robbed elderly and vulnerable Americans out of millions of dollars.
Known as ‘Club Fed’, inmates in the lenient prison don’t even sleep in cells, instead sharing four-person rooms with bunk beds.
Holmes, who was estimated to be worth $4.5 billion at her peak, will also have the option of taking business classes from behind bars.
Federal Prison Camp Bryan is the facility that was recommended Holmes be sent to by a judge, and it is currently unclear if she may report to a separate prison.

Holmes was once seen as a business prodigy, with her health tech firm Theranos previously raising almost $1 billion from sophisticated investors including Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison and media mogul Rupert Murdoch.
When she dropped out of Stanford University in 2003 to found Theranos while still a teenager, she vowed to revolutionize the healthcare industry.
She promoted a new technology that would be able to scan for hundreds of diseases and other potential health problems by analyzing just a few drops of blood.
But the tech never came to fruition, and she was eventually convicted in 2022 of defrauding investors out of $100 million and was sentenced to 11-years behind bars.

She has twice appealed her sentence to delay her fate, but she is now set to serve time after US District Judger Edward Davila reset her revised prison-reporting date to May 30 earlier this month.
The delay allowed her to enjoy one last Memorial Day weekend with her family, where she and Evans spent quality family time at Tide Park, a secluded beach two miles north of their home.
Her two children, William and Invicta, gleefully ran around the beachfront in exclusive DailyMail.com pictures.
At one point, Holmes, dressed in a black hooded beach cover, took her-three-month-old daughter Invicta for a dip into the ocean.
