The Golden Bachelorette live finale served as an epic crossover reunion for many franchise stars.
“I mean … cmon!” Jonathon Johnson, who finished in third place on Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette season, wrote via Instagram Story on Wednesday, November 13.
Jonathon, 28, posed for a selfie with military veteran and Golden Bachelorette contestant Mark Anderson and One Tree Hill alum Barbara Alyn Woods, setting the post to Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely.” The music choice was, apparently, all Mark’s doing.
“P.S. Mark chose the song,” Jonathan added in his Story caption.
Barbara, 62, reposted the snapshot onto her Instagram Story account.
On Wednesday, Jonathan, Mark, 57, and more Bachelor Nation alums and current stars descended on Los Angeles to toast the engagement of Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos and her fiancé, Chock Chapple.
Mark, for his part, is the father of Kelsey Anderson, who got engaged to Joey Graziadei on the latest season of The Bachelor. Kelsey, 26, then signed up her dad for Joan’s season, which started airing on ABC earlier this year. Mark, who was previously married to wife Denise until her 2018 death after she battled breast cancer, was ultimately eliminated ahead of hometowns. Joan, 61, sent him home during their one-on-one date.
“I think that my dad has grown so much through this journey of The Golden Bachelorette,” Kelsey exclusively told Us Weekly last month, noting she would “support him” if he was named the next series lead. “I think that he grew a lot from it and I’m just really proud of him. I’m also really thankful for Joan in helping my dad through all of this.”
Kelsey further explained that her dad’s elimination made him feel “pretty sad.”
“I know that after he left, he was pretty sad because he did really appreciate Joan and he really did care for her. So I think he had a hard time leaving,” Kelsey told Us. “But I think that he really valued his experience through it all and he had the best time. He was like, ‘I made 21 best friends.’ He had the best time and I think that it helped him grow a lot with his grieving as well.”
Since leaving the Golden Bachelorette mansion, Mark has bonded with Barbara. The pair even celebrated Halloween together in coordinating Cinderella and Prince Charming costumes.
“When Cinderella and Prince Charming have a baby,” Barbara joked via Instagram, referring to her daughter Natalie’s The Mandalorian-inspired costume.
Weeks later, Mark and Barbara teamed up for a TikTok challenge set to Surf Curse’s “Disco.”
“In good company,” she wrote on Sunday, November 10.
