Teyana Taylor stunned fans with her recent sans makeup selfie featuring ice white hair.
The actress rocked a natural look on her social media post, as she comfortably lounged around in a white robe during her recent Airbnb stay in Paris.
The key to Teyanaâs impressive glow is consistently moisturizing and she shared that itâs a step in her skincare routine that she doesnât skip.
She revealed to Bustle: âThereâs nothing like hopping out of the shower, throwing on the towel, and not getting to lotion your body. Itâs the worst feeling in the world. I will literally get back in and get myself damp just to moisturize myself.â
Teyanaâs D.I.Y. beauty
Although Teyana has access to some of the most exclusive beauty products, she prefers to create her own unique D.I.Y. moisturizer.
The entertainer revealed: âI mix essential oils with a little bit of olive oil, coconut oil and shea butter, plus vitamin E oil or vitamin E cream. I put it in a little cake mix bowl and stir it, and itâs the best [for moisture]. My friends always want a jar of my concoctions.â
Although her skin is near perfect now, the mother-of-two shared that when she was in the postpartum period, she began to have troublesome skin.
She recalled: âWhen I had kids and I started to really deal with breakouts, random pimples, bumps, blackheads, I started getting into skin care,â per Vogue. Through that difficulty, she learned what works and what doesnât for her sensitive skin.
Her personal routine
Firstly she uses a rice wash, then gentle exfoliant and finally a soothing gel. She finishes her skin prep off with a face mist, plumping lip mask and she mixes sunscreen into her moisturizer.
When she does wear makeup, the first thing that the actress starts with is her signature thick brows. While using an eyebrow pencil, styling wax and concealer around the arches in a Vogue video, Teyana expressed: âEveryone who knows me knows I donât play about them, okay?â
The entertainer used both foundation and concealer for a contoured look and she set it with powder, before adding blush and highlighter.
After her face and brows are completed, she added eye shadow and liner, and finally a lip gloss.
Lastly, she rolled on her go-to perfume balm and she went from sans makeup to full makeup in no time, with impressively hydrated skin throughout.
